Two more St. Albertans have died from COVID-19, the province reported on Tuesday.
Data current from Feb. 14 updated the number of people who have died in the city from the virus to 66.
Active COVID cases continue to drop in St. Albert. The province reported 299 active cases of the virus on Tuesday, compared to 371 reported on Thursday.
Sturgeon County active COVID cases have decreased to 124 from 181 reported on Thursday. Data from the province showed the number of people in the county who have died from the virus remained at 17.
Morinville's active COVID cases have dropped by 12. Provincial data indicated 48 cases of the virus, compared to 60 reported on Thursday. There were no new COVID deaths in the town; the number of people who have died from the virus remained at 14.
Both hospitalizations and ICU numbers have fallen slightly. The province reported there were 1,538 people in the hospital compared to 1,586 reported late last week. Provincial data showed there were 123 people in ICU, three fewer people than reported on Thursday.
The province reported the number of Albertans who have died from the virus at 3,790.
Alberta-wide COVID cases had dropped to 19,050, compared to the 25,339 reported by the province on Thursday.
Provincial data showed the per cent positivity had fallen to 28.85 per cent, down from the 32.26 per cent reported Thursday.
