St. Albert RCMP investigate break-in at Cora's

The restaurant at St. Albert Centre was broken into at around 11:45 p.m. on Sept. 14, RCMP said today.

St. Albert RCMP are investigating after Cora's Restaurant was broken into last night, and a thief or thieves made off with cash.

An alarm was triggered at Cora's at St. Albert Centre at around 11:45 p.m. last night, RCMP said in a statement released this afternoon.

The business was broken into, causing damage to the door, and several items were stolen, including the cash register and cash, RCMP said in the statement Sept. 15. The value of the loss is still being determined. It is estimated to be more than $1,500. 

RCMP are hoping for tips from anyone who might have seen suspicious activity in the area, or who may have video surveillance or dash-cam footage of the area around the time of the break in.
