St. Albert photo radar sites Nov. 5-12

Photo radar may be used in other areas, also. The city has posted an Interactive Photo Enforcement Map of all RCMP approved photo enforcement locations.
The City of St. Albert has deployed a remote photo radar unit that will photograph speeders in locations that vehicle-mounted units cannot easily access.
“Site of the Day notification is one part of St. Albert’s ongoing education campaign, which focuses on defensive and safe driving habits,” according to the city.

Adhering to provincial policy, the City of St. Albert has published a list of some of the places it plans to use photo radar in November.

Photo radar may be used in other areas, also. The city has posted an Interactive Photo Enforcement Map of all RCMP approved photo enforcement locations.

Watch for daily posts at 6 a.m. on the City of St. Albert Facebook page and on X (formerly Twitter) @CityofStAlbert. Site of the Day notifications are also posted on the City’s Photo Enforcement Locations web page. 

Locations include:

  • Nov. 5 – Hogan Road near Sturgeon Heights School & McKenney Avenue near Morgan Crescent
  • Nov. 6 – Grenfell Avenue near Wild Rose School & St. Albert Trail near Green Grove Drive
  • Nov. 7 – Oakridge Drive near Oakridge Park & Sir Winston Churchill Avenue near École Sacré Coeur 
  • Nov. 8 – Deer Ridge Drive near Muriel Martin School & St. Albert Trail near Villeneuve Road
  • Nov. 9 – St. Albert Trail near Green Grove Drive & Grandin Road near Gate Avenue
  • Nov. 10 – Sunset Boulevard near Holy Family Catholic School & Boudreau Road near Forest Drive
  • Nov. 11 – Bellerose Drive near Oakmont Drive & McKenney Avenue near Morgan Crescent
  • Nov. 12 – Sir Winston Churchill Avenue near Kingswood Drive & St. Albert Trail near Everitt Drive
