Recently my wife and I went for a drive through Calmar and Rocky Mountain House.
We were surprised to see the amount hanging flowerpots in their downtown and surrounding areas and the grooming of entrances into the towns.
We looked at St. Albert and its lack of floral and effort put into making our city entrances and downtown look inviting. I read the story in the Gazette about how nice it was to see businesses put floral outside their establishments to help beautify our city.
Mr. Mayor shame on you and councillors for not taking more pride in our city and setting the example for businesses and residents that want to participate in civic pride.
