St. Albert RCMP are on scene Saturday night at Apple Place near Akins Drive, responding to what is described as a "a police incident."
The ongoing incident is contained to a residence, according to RCMP, but police are asking residents to avoid the area and refrain from posting photos of responding officers on social media.
"A limited number of affected residents have been asked to hold and secure until the incident is over," according to information provided by RCMP at 10 p.m. on June 22.
