One person is dead after a collision between two vehicles in St. Albert Saturday night.
According to an RCMP news release, the accident happened at approximately 8:20 p.m. A vehicle travelling northbound struck a second vehicle turning left on Hebert Road at the intersection of Hebert and St. Albert Trail.
The release stated that one person died in the accident while a second was taken to hospital. There is no word on that person’s condition. The release also stated the identity of the deceased person has not yet been positively established.
The RCMP do not yet know if speed or alcohol was a factor in the crash. The investigation continues.
This is St. Albert’s second traffic fatality of 2013.
