When Dora came into NASAP's care, she was so petite that the volunteers thought she was a six-month-old kitten. She is approximately two and a half years old. She has gained weight and much of her fur that had fallen out due to malnutrition has grown back soft and shiny.
Dora is a very sweet and quiet cat. Although she is not really a lap cat, she wants to be close to her humans and will follow you around the house as you go about your business. She races to the front door to greet everyone and happily hung out in the room when 20 people were visiting. Dora is extremely good about using her scratching posts and she hardly sheds.
Dora has a few requirements in a new home. She must go to a home where she is the only cat. She has not been around dogs before. Dora also requires an indoor-only and adult home with no small children. She does not like to be moved and it will take some time for her to gain trust in her new humans. She is worth the small investment of time and patience!
This little creature has had a rough start in life and deserves a loving, forever home. Are you the one willing to make the effort to earn her trust and adoration? Dora is completely healthy and is all ready to go to her new home. Please inquire about adopting her! Dora's NASAP adoption fee includes her spay, vaccinations, deworming, FIV/Feline leukemia testing, microchip, tattoo and a post-adoption health check-up.
Hi everyone, my name is Bubba and I am a senior Malamute cross looking for a retirement home.
I am a gentle dog and no trouble at all to have around. I am very quiet in the house and follow my foster mom around as she does her chores. I am housetrained and will whine at the door when I need to go outside. I get along fine with other dogs and am a very laid-back kind of guy. I enjoy being made a fuss of and will happily lie still while you scratch and pet me!
I am a very low-maintenance dog and enjoy just lounging in the yard or house. I need a kind home where I can keep my new family company day by day and we can all hang out together. I do like going for walks and am quite active for an older guy. I am neutered and am up to date with my shots. I am also microchipped.
If you have it in your heart to give a home to an old boy like me, please call NASAP at 780-922-0250 and ask about Bubba. My foster mom will be happy to tell you all about me. Or, if you prefer, you can go online to www.nasap.ca and click on the "adopt me" link underneath my picture. So, please think about it and consider making an old guy very happy. Bye for now, thanks for reading about me and maybe I'll be seeing you!
