A 58-year-old man has died following a semi rollover near Calahoo on Tuesday around 7 p.m.
Morinville RMCP are investigating the single vehicle collision on Highway 37 near Range Road 274 where a westbound semi truck lost control while making a sharp turn.
The truck, which was hauling a trailer full of railway ties, equipment and a pickup truck, rolled at least once on the highway.
The driver, who was the lone occupant of the semi, died on scene. His name has not yet been released.
Cst. Yelena Avoine with Morinville RCMP said the deceased driver from Onoway was not wearing a seat belt.
Traffic was diverted around the scene of the accident for nearly six hours.
Alcohol and road conditions are not considered to be factors.
