The St. Albert Crime Stoppers Association is asking for your assistance in solving the following crimes:
Break-in
On Dec. 5, at approximately 1:35 a.m. St. Albert RCMP responded to an alarm at Klondyke Flowers at #200, 10 McKenney Ave. No one was found inside the premises but the back door was insecure. It appeared that nothing was taken from the premises.
Break in to J.J. Nearing school
At approximately 1 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 3, St. Albert RCMP were called to J.J. Nearing school at 196 Deer Ridge Dr. in response to a security alarm. Although no suspects were found in the school, person(s) unknown had entered the school and set off a fire extinguisher in the hallway and office areas.
Video surveillance show four to five male youth in the school, but their identities have not been determined. It is believed that these young people may have had yellow powder on their shoes and clothing from the fire extinguisher.
Hit and run
Between Nov. 30 at 7 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. the following morning, a red Mazda four-door hatchback was legally parked on Kendall Crescent, when it was struck on the driver’s side door by an unknown vehicle. No one left any information at the scene of the collision and no report of the hit and run has been made to police.
Attempted break-in
On Nov. 29, between 10 p.m. and 10 a.m. the following morning, unknown person(s) attempted to break into Leaf Garden Buffet located at 388 St. Albert Trail. The unknown person(s) did not gain entry to the premises.
Theft from London Drugs
On Nov. 16, between 5 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., a Caucasian female walked into London Drugs at 19 Bellerose Dr., removed several baby outfits from their hangers and placed them into reusable London Drugs bags. The woman then left the store without paying for the items. She returned to the store, selected a leather footstool valued at $219.99 plus tax, and carried the footstool out of the store without paying. The woman did not return to the store and made no attempt to pay for any of the items.
The suspect is described as approximately 30 years old, five-feet, five-inches tall, 170 lbs., long straight dyed blonde hair, white hooded vest with fur collar, black jacket, black athletic pants and aqua blue/green colored cellphone cover.
The suspect female entered the store with another Caucasian female. This female is not a suspect but may be able to identify the suspect. This female is described as approximately 35 to 40 years old, five-feet, five-inches tall, 180 lbs., long dark brown hair, glasses with black frames, white long sleeve shirt, and black vest. St. Albert RCMP is looking for your help to identify the person(s) involved in this theft.
Theft from construction site
Between Nov. 10 at 11 p.m. and Nov. 15 at midnight, unknown person(s) entered Traine's Construction jobsite located at 20 Nevada Pl. and stole two hammer drills, a digital level, a transit, passlode loader, a generator, a first aid kit and 10 saws. Total value of items stolen is $11,000.
