Pedestrian hit and run collision

On Tuesday, Nov. 5, at approximately 8 a.m. a 36-year-old female pedestrian, a resident of St. Albert, was crossing the street at the intersection of St. Albert Trail and Sturgeon Road/St. Anne Street. She was hit by a vehicle turning from Sturgeon Road southbound onto St. Albert Trail. The female driver of the vehicle hit the pedestrian on the right elbow with the passenger's side mirror, causing the side mirror to break. The driver stopped her vehicle, got out and talked to the pedestrian, but then drove away from the collision scene.

The vehicle is described as a white car that now has a broken passenger side mirror. The female driver was described as 20 to 30 years old with a white complexion.

Front door of Liquor Barn smashed

On Friday, Nov. 1, at approximately 1:20 a.m., a male suspect smashed the front glass door of the Liquor Barn business located on St. Albert Trail. Surveillance video showed a heavily intoxicated male suspect used his black pedal bike to smash the glass door and then leave without entering the store.

The suspect, whose age is not known, was described as white skinned, with dark hair. He was wearing tan pants, a black hoodie and a black ball cap with white writing on it.
