The St. Albert Crime Stoppers Association is asking for your assistance in solving the following crimes:

Tampering with phone wires

On the afternoon of Sunday, Oct. 20, someone tampered with a phone box on the outside of a residence located on Eastgate Crescent. It appeared that a wire had been disconnected from the telephone box which caused the residence to lose its telephone and alarm service for a period of time. The RCMP is encouraging the public to make regular checks of their exterior phone boxes to make sure they are working and have not been tampered with.

Akinsdale Clubhouse vandalized

Sometime between Oct. 4 and Oct. 8, unknown person(s) climbed onto the roof of the Akinsdale Clubhouse at 36 Alpine Blvd. and damaged one of the roof furnace vents, a number of shingles and stole four of the fresh-air vents.
