An Aug. 10 story on the Morinville parks and open spaces plan said that, “The report proposes to build some $7.6 million in new parks, trails and facilities over the next decade, including four playgrounds, three sports fields and two baseball diamonds.”
Town council received an updated version of the report after the article went to press that changes these figures. The new report suggests about $4.95 million in construction over the next six years, plus up to $41 million of new facilities in the decades after 2018. The Gazette regrets any confusion this may have caused.
