Freddy is a wonderfully natured boy who was starving for attention and training. He lived a somewhat secluded life until he came to NASAP. He has not had much in the way of proper socialization or exercise. He’s a great, boisterous boy who just needs to run. He wants and needs direction, with firm consistent training. Freddy loves other dogs and, quite frankly, any kind of attention at all from people or dogs is a joyous occasion for him. He jumps up and will easily knock over young children. He also has a bad habit at the moment of nipping while jumping up in playfulness. He must learn that this is not acceptable and we are working on that. Freddy has a very high prey drive and would not be good (just yet anyway) on a property with livestock or chickens etc., nor would he be good with cats. NASAP feels strongly though, that all he needs is some regular exercise, training and ideally another equally playful dog in the home and he will be a fabulous family pet. Being that he is part border collie and part husky he has a mind that needs to be stimulated and a body that requires a decent run every day. His foster home is currently running him with a bike for five kilometres twice a day and he will play fetch until he gets bored and moves onto something else! We feel that Freddy could really use a job, as he requires so much mental stimulation. He could be fabulous at flyball or agility and in the sledding industry due to his high energy level and how much he loves to run. Freddy has been vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. Ginny is a very curious and lovable kitty. She likes to put her front paws up on your lap and enjoys playing with long hair or necklaces. Ginny has a lot of love to give and will purr as you talk to and pet her; her tail is always up. Like her brothers and sisters, she really enjoys her tummy rubs.
