Adopt a Pet

Hal is a fun loving boy who just wants to have a good time. He is very new to the Northern Alberta Society for Animal Protection (NASAP), but first impressions are of a friendly, active boy who enjoys playing with other dogs.

Hal is a fun loving boy who just wants to have a good time. He is very new to the Northern Alberta Society for Animal Protection (NASAP), but first impressions are of a friendly, active boy who enjoys playing with other dogs.

Hal was a stray who has previously been neutered and will be soon be vaccinated and microchipped. We will have more on this good looking, happy fellow as we get to know him.

Hal is currently being fostered at Prairie Rose Boarding Kennels in the Tofield area. Hal’s adoption fee includes vaccinations, microchip, and a post adoption health checkup. Please go online to www.nasap.ca and click on the “adopt me” link underneath his picture. Or you can call NASAP at (780) 922-0250 and leave a voicemail.

Keiki is a wonderful adult torti (with a cute stubby tail) that came from the Black Gold pound. She has a tattoo and was already spayed, but her owner could not be traced so she is looking for a fresh start.

Although she is a big fan of meal time and play time, what she’d like most is a comfy spot beside you on the couch or on your bed. Keiki would make an excellent companion for someone who spends a lot of time at home. She is a very affectionate cat but prefers attention on her own terms. So, when she wants to sit in your lap, she’ll crawl there. If it’s chin scratches she wants, she’ll let you know. Same goes for meal time and play time – she’s very good at communicating.

For these reasons, Keiki would do much better in a home without small children, and as she does not get along with cats and dogs, she must be the only pet in the house.

If you can provide a loving, indoor-only home for Keiki, please contact NASAP today. Keiki’s NASAP adoption fee includes vaccinations, feline leukemia/FIV testing, microchip, and a post adoption health checkup. Keiki is available for our special senior cat adoption fee. Please go online to www.nasap.ca and click on the “adopt me” link underneath her picture. Or you can call NASAP at (780) 922-0250 and leave a voicemail.
