Adopt A Pet

They call me Tigger because when I first came into care I used to jump up to kiss people on the nose but my foster mom has cured me of that bad habit and so now I guess I need a new name. I’m hoping I will get a new home to go with it.

Please come and see me if you are looking for a laid-back adult dog who adores children and likes to wrestle with shih tzus. I am smart and learn things quickly. My foster dad has been teaching me all kinds of stuff. My favourite pastime is fetching a ball. I love going for car rides, so I can tag along when you take the kids to school or go shopping or maybe even when you go camping. I ignore cats – I’ve always found that that is the best policy with felines – and I get along with other dogs just fine. I am spayed and microchipped. My adoption fee is $200. Please go online to nasap.ca and click on the “adopt me” link underneath my picture. Or you can call the Northern Alberta Society for Animal Protection (NASAP) at 780-922-0250 and leave a voicemail.

I’m an orange and cream-coloured, short-haired, two-year-old male with big beautiful blue eyes. I came into NASAP a very scared and unsure guy. But, with a steady dose of snuggling every evening from my foster parents and plenty of brushing and petting, I’m my old purring and kneading self.

I use my scratching post and my litter box like a good little guest and I’m now very comfortable in my new surroundings. I think with some more time and a loving atmosphere, I’ll show more of my gentle and loving personality and will make a great addition to my future forever home.

Jude’s NASAP adoption fee includes his neuter, vaccinations, deworming, microchip, tattoo, FIV/feline leukemia testing and a post adoption health checkup.
