St. Albert RCMP seized cocaine with a street value of approximately $60,000 from an Oakmont home late last month.
On April 26, officers went to the residence of Merit Ilker Iyioz as part of a court ordered curfew check. There they found 678 grams of cocaine and subsequently arrested Iyioz for violating the conditions of his court order.
The 30-year-old has been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of a controlled substance.
Iyioz was denied bail and is to appear in St. Albert Court on Monday, May 27.
