The City of St. Albert’s upcoming Cultural CafĂ© will discuss the development of cultural facilities and infrastructure in the city.
Set for tomorrow at 5:30 p.m. at the Art Gallery of St. Albert, the cafĂ©’s panel is led by some of the city’s leading administrators.
They include Carol Bergum, the city’s director of planning and development; Monique St. Louis, director of Build St. Albert; Ann Ramsden, executive director at Arts and Heritage, Adam Mitchell, cultural facilities manager and a representative from the city’s economic development team.
Moderating the event is Kelly Jerrott, director of cultural services. Each panelist will provide information on how their current projects line up with proposed cultural development in the community.
The café will also provide a sneak peek at Imprints, the poem that continues to inspire.

The 4th annual Sturgeon County Bounty and the Haunted Pumpkin Festival join forces on Saturday, September 28 at Bon Accord’s Prairie Gardens and Adventure Farms.
Tam Andersen, director of fun and the driving force behind the Sturgeon County Bounty, has invited numerous producers, chefs and artists to kick-start the fall activities.
This year the event features locally-grown produce and meat, fruit wines and baked goods. Local artisans will showcase and sell their arts and crafts.
The Haunted Pumpkin Festival runs on weekends until Sunday, Oct. 27. New this year is a pumpkin drumming circle and a rededicated haunted house with new spooks and scares.
Returning are corn mazes, puppet shows, a band, scarecrow making and a pumpkin cannon that will raise funds for Youth Empowerment and Support Services Society.
Prairie Gardens is 25 kilometres north of Edmonton on Highway 28. Admission is $12 per person and family rates are $10.95 per person.
