Kelly Stodola, one of Vancouver’s most sought-after freelance session drummers, revisits his roots in St. Albert.
Known for his precision and versatility, Stodola returns to LB’s Pub for the Moosehead Barsnbands Open Stage this coming Tuesday.
“Kelly has always been diligent in his music endeavours and getting him behind a kit is a pleasure and inspiration for me every time,” says host/drummer Mark Ammar.
But will there be room for two drummers on the stage or will they face off in a duel? Wait and see is the reply.
At any rate, Stodola and Ammar go back to the ’70s when both were honing their chops as a select group of jammers in St. Albert and area.
“He’s a very solid clock drummer and a dear old friend. We love to have him in for a night of jammin’.”
The jam starts at 9 p.m. No cover.
