On April 23 at 10 a.m., Broadway across Canada is releasing season subscriptions to the general public for their 2012-2013 season mounted at the Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium.
First on the agenda is Disney’s unforgettable Mary Poppins. Yes, the umbrella clutching, flying nanny that scored successive hits in London and New York, takes off from July 24 through 29, 2012.
Next on the roster is Rock of Ages coming Nov. 6 to 11. It’s a 1987 romance of a small town girl that meets a slick city rocker at a famous L.A. rock club. The musical features 28 rockin’ ’80s tunes including Don’t Stop Believin’ and Here I Go Again.
And lastly, Billy Elliot The Musical arrives March 19 through 24, 2013. Set in a small town, the story follows Billy as he stumbles from the boxing ring to ballet class. By discovering his passion and following his dream, he inspires his family and an entire community.
