Feathers and Fur is a selection of Tammy Taylor’s Realist portraits of animals. Until Saturday. Musée Héritage Museum
The museum has a new exhibit called
The Michel Band, which focuses on the family, the injustice and the perseverance of a local Aboriginal band that was the only First Nation in Canada in the 20th century to enfranchise but, in doing so, lost their Aboriginal and treaty rights. Opening reception tomorrow from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Members of the band will be in attendance. Until Jan. 7, 2018.
The museum has a selection of artworks by First Nations and Métis artists Alex Janvier, Terry McCue, and Leah Dorion, all of whom are represented in the Art Gallery of St. Albert’s collection and its Rental and Sales Gallery. The display will run in conjunction with the September ArtWalk. Until the end of the month.
