High Energy 23 is now on display. The show features the visual art of students from the following local schools: Bellerose Composite High School, École Secondaire Paul Kane High School, St. Albert Catholic High School, Outreach High School, École Secondaire Sainte Marguerite d'Youville and École Alexandre-Taché. Opening reception takes place tomorrow evening from 6 to 9 p.m. in conjunction with the May ArtWalk. Artists will be in attendance. Until Sat., June 2.

Visual Arts Studio Association

Friends of Mine by Denise Lefebvre is now on display. Opening reception takes place tomorrow evening from 6 to 9 p.m. in conjunction with the May ArtWalk. Artist will be in attendance. Until Sat., June 2.

Musée Héritage Museum

The museum welcomes a double exhibit this month. The Witness Blanket Project by Carey Newman (Ha-yalth-kingeme) and Forget-Me-Not, Métis Rose by Lisa Shepherd and Kristi Bridgeman are both now open. Until Sunday, June 3.

Youth Gallery at the Arden Theatre

The St. Albert Photography Club has a rotating selection of artistic photographs on display in the foyer area of Red Willow Place.

YEG Canvas

The new rotation of artworks is now on display for the Edmonton Arts Council's third annual public art project. Look for new works on various billboard and LRT poster locations throughout the capital city. VASA artist Rick Rogers' work Interdependence can be found on an Edmonton billboard at 50 Street south of 72 Avenue on the east side facing north. A new set of the limited edition #YEGCanvas trading cards will also be available at EAC events.

The St. Albert Potters Guild is hosting Mad Potters Tea Party, its annual spring sale at St. Albert Place on the first weekend of May. It runs from 5 to 9 p.m. on Friday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. www.stalbertpotters.ca.
