The St. Albert Arts Exchange offers a meeting place for "culturally minded community members" to network and create synergies within the city's vibrant arts community. Cultural Services staff will be on hand for an information session on the various types of funding, grants and awards that are available to local artists, arts organizations, and supporters of the arts. Art Battle 622 comes to Edmonton this Saturday starting at 6:30 p.m. A dozen artists go head-to-head to paint the best and fastest and win the audience's favours. There are three rounds of action with one winner at the end of the evening. Whoever gets crowned goes on to the next level of competition, all the way up to the national level.
