Artworks by Daniel Bagan, Paul Bernhardt, Marna Bunnell, James Davies, Neel de Wit-Wibaut, Walter Dexter, Sarah Fuller, Les Graff, Krista Hamilton, Gordon Harper, Marcia Harris, Ken HouseGo, Lynn Malin, Petra Mala Miller, Garry Newton, Baco Ohama, Bruce Pashak, Helen Sebelius, Nancy Tice, James Trevelyan and Rolf Ungstad. The exhibit comes from the collection of the Alberta Foundation for the Arts. On display until Jan. 30.

The annual youth photo exhibit, Take Your Best Shot, is in its last week featuring photographers from grades three to 12. A special exhibit in the Discover Room features photographers in Grade 2 and under. On display until Sun., Jan. 24.

Flower Power is St. Albert painter Memory Roth’s solo exhibit of floral portraits has again been extended until Fri., Jan. 29. The new gallery is located on the second floor and is open during regular business hours and performances.

Alberta Collects features artworks by Alberta artists from the collections of other Alberta artists. The Art Gallery of St. Albert has its 26th annual fundraiser coming up. Step Right Up! will take place on Sat., March 12 at St. Albert Place. The carnival-themed event will feature demos, hands-on activities, a silent auction, entertainment plus great food and drink. Early bird tickets are $25 each till Jan. 31 and $30 each afterward, or $35 at the door. The next Night of Artists fiesta is set to offer an early sesquicentennial fĂŞte to the country a year before its big anniversary. XIX – Oh Canada! Will take place from March 3 to 6 at the Enjoy Centre. It’s a massive art expo featuring dozens upon dozens of artists from across the region and the province (all with art for sale), along with great music, fashion and the Mayor’s Arts Awards to boot.
