The Alberta Council for the Ukrainian Arts presents Five Waves of Inspiration, a special community exhibition celebrating 125 years of Ukrainian immigration to Canada and the influence that the five distinct waves of this country’s immigration have had on the arts community in Alberta. Art on the Block is the Art Gallery of Alberta’s annual fundraiser event and silent art auction. Artworks donated by artists including Blaine Campbell, Brenda Kim Christiansen, Pam Wilman and Cory Christopher Designs. Proceeds go to support the gallery’s exhibitions, education and programming.
