Flower Power, St. Albert painter Memory Roth's solo exhibit of floral portraits, has finished its stay at the Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium and has now moved to Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium. Dans Mon Studio Alberta is a chance to visit nine artists’ studios across the province from Calgary to Bonnyville from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday only. St. Albert’s Doris Charest and VASA member Karen Blanchet are participating. Visit ‘Dans mon studio Alberta’ on Facebook for locations of their studios and those of several others. It’s a program hosted by the Centre d'arts visuels de l'Alberta (CAVA) and Regroupement artistique francophone de l'Alberta (RAFA).

RAW Artist Showcase has events in more than 60 cities and its next event is lined up for Edmonton. According to its website, it is meant as a platform “to provide independent artists within the first 10 years of their creative career with the tools, resources, and exposure needed to inspire and cultivate creativity.” Peter Gegolick and Garrett Plummer will be on site representing the Goop of 7. The one-night event will be a showcase of indie talent in visual art, film, fashion design, music, performance art, hair and makeup artistry, and photography.
