Alvin, mixed breed
Hi everyone, Alvin here. I am a small (Jack Russell-sized) mixed breed neutered male dog looking for a loving home. The best educated guess seems to be that I am a mix of Jack Russell, chihuahua and maybe some pinscher thrown in!
I am full of fun and will brighten your spirits with my happy-go-lucky attitude. I am in a foster home sharing space with a female Doberman pinscher and two lively young children. I have struck up a great friendship with the younger of these boys — he just turned four years old and has an energy level to match mine, so we get along really great! I am fine with his hugs and kisses but I draw the line at getting too friendly with the cat; that cat goes out of its way to tick me off! So I just ignore him as much as possible. He really thinks he owns the joint!
I am housetrained and OK in a crate. I need to learn not to pull on the leash, so obedience classes with my new owner would be a good idea once I get adopted. I am a social butterfly and love company. I will be there to wish you "good morning" as soon as you wake up!
So if you are looking for a small dog with a good temperament to keep you company then please consider calling and asking about Alvin. You won't be disappointed. You can call NASAP at 780-922-0250 and speak to my foster mom, or you can go online to www.nasap.ca and click on the "Adopt Me" link underneath my picture. My adoption fee is $200 and I have been neutered, been microchipped and given my shots. So go on, pick up that phone!
Asiah, DSH, 3 months
Asiah is a beautiful young short-haired female kitten. She is around three months old and has a shiny black coat. She belongs to Broomhilda, who came into care with her four kittens from our partner pound in late August.
Asiah has two sisters (India and Vada) and they are all carbon copies of each other, except for their tails. While Vada has a normal, long tail, the other two female kittens have tails that are only around half the normal length. The only male in the litter (Checkers) is black and white and he has medium length hair. All four kittens are quiet and loving. They love to play together so consider adopting two at a reduced rate for play and companionship!
These kittens' NASAP adoption fees include their spays or neuters (at six months; coupons provided), microchips, vaccinations, deworming, FIV/feline leukemia testing and post-adoption health checkups. Please inquire about adopting one of Broomhilda's beautiful kittens like Asiah today! They are all ready to go to new loving homes!
