Vancouver’s thrash metal band Omega Crom is on their Summer Shred Canadian Tour in support of their first and long-awaited album dubbed Blood, Steel and Fire.
Although they’d never visited St. Albert before their first album tour in March, they’ve booked a second gig for Thursday, July 29 in a 24-city national tour that takes them as far as Montreal and Sherbrooke.
Omega Crom has developed an explosive signature style that features topical songs with blistering guitar riffs and a driving blast beat enhanced by technical complexity and speed.
Perhaps the best man to describe the Omega Crom musical experience is lead singer Johnny Ketlo who says, “It’s like Judas Priest on steroids.”
