Saturday Sessions

Once again host Mark Ammar brings back Rotten Dan Shinnan this coming Saturday at LB's Pub. One of the area's most familiar faces, Rotten Dan has amped up stages from Alberta to Memphis. Best known as the front man and harmonica player in the funky blues band Boogie Patrol, he's the driving force that helped the band win the Blues Album of the Year at the 2012 Edmonton Music Awards. A huge fan of Joe Cocker, Rotten Dan is a hard-driving performer and he's hardest on himself. But after enjoying The Memphis Blues Challenge and The Maple Blues Awards, the payoff has been great. The show starts at 4 p.m. at 23 Akins Dr. No cover.
