First production by a theatre company

Ginger & Rosemary Theatre presents its inaugural production, Three on a Seesaw, at Holy Trinity Anglican Church from April 13 to 17.

Written by Milan playwright Luigi Lunari and translated into English by Barrett Hileman and Giorgia Severini, Three on a Seesaw looks at three very different men who find themselves trapped in a room for the night.

Bizarre, irrational and almost miraculous incidents happen around them and as the night wears on, they confront questions about morality, God and the meaning of life.

Ginger & Rosemary has a mission to present shows that have never or are rarely presented on Edmonton stages.

Tickets are $12 to $18 and are available through Tix on the Square.

An invitation to dance

Festival City Winds Intermediate Bands, under the direction of Wendy Grasdahl, present an evening demonstrating different dance forms from authentic Renaissance dances and roundtable dances and to the cha cha, calypso and fiery mambo.

The concert takes place Saturday, April 16 at 7:30 p.m. a Concordia University. Tickets are $12 at the door.
