St. Albert playwright David Haas is writing a new play and he’s casting about for actors to perform at the Edmonton International Fringe Festival.
Wolfman Crossing is a 60-minute psychological drama with paranormal overtones. Seven hitchhikers vanish along a heavily forested area on a northern Alberta highway. Rumours are flying and local folk link a murderous shape-changing fiend of local legend to the mysterious disappearances.
Lori Chenger (Sex Please, We’re Sixty and How the Other Half Lives), a member of the St. Albert Theatre Troupe, will direct.
Chenger is looking for an actor to play a male highway courier in his early 30s, a female investigative reporter in her 20s, a garage mechanic in his 30s or 40s and a female police officer in her late 20s.
Auditions are held at Unitarian Church of Edmonton on Sunday, April 3 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Tuesday, April 5 from 8:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Email Chenger to arrange an audition time at [email protected].
