Romeo and Juliet

As part of the Royal Opera House cinema season, St. Albert’s Arden Theatre presents Kenneth MacMillan’s groundbreaking ballet Romeo and Juliet.

The Royal Ballet’s romantic signature work stars Sarah Lamb as a Juliet full of grace, lightness and technical polish, and Steven McRae as her quicksilver Romeo.

Critics across the board are in praise of the 1965 doomed love story, an interpretation of Prokofiev’s magisterial score with its potential to shred emotions as few others.

Romeo and Juliet will be screened Sunday, March 20 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $20 adults, $15 students/seniors plus facility fees. Call 780-459-1542 or at ticketmaster.ca.
