If you’re into reggae and world music, you can buy yourself a nice Christmas present.
The Wailers, one of the world’s premiere reggae bands makes an appearance at the Arden Theatre on Thursday, March 3, 2016.
Together with Bob Marley, the high-energy band has sold in excess of 250 million albums worldwide and played to an estimated 24 million people.
Outside of their connection with Marley, the Wailers have performed with the cream of international acts – Sting, Stevie Wonder, Carlos Santana, Peter Tosh and Burning Spear.
Now in their fifth decade, the music has proved its timeless appeal, and The Wailers are living legends that embody the conviction and progressive appeal of Marley.
The band anchor is Aston ‘Family Man’ Barrett, Marley’s first lieutenant and the current lineup features Jamaica’s most exciting new singers.
Tickets for The Wailers go on sale Friday, Nov. 13 at 10 a.m. They are $60 plus facility fee and are available in person at the Arden Theatre box office, 5 St. Anne Street, or by calling 780-459-1542 or at ticketmaster.ca.
