Originally from St. Catherines, Ont., the established musician has created a body of work since 1991 that reflects his constantly evolving artistic growth.
Often pegged as a “downbeat balladeer,” Sexsmith first won over fans and critics with deeply earnest singles such as Secret Heart and Strawberry Blonde.
The established singer-songwriter’s 2015 release Carousel One (he recorded 14 studio albums) veers into surprising territory and lightens up with gentle contentment and humour.

Airing on Global TV and produced by Shaw Media and Insight Productions, Big Brother auditions will be held at Knoxsville’s Tavern Edmonton on Saturday, Sept. 26 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
According to a recent press release, “Big Brother Canada is looking for the biggest and boldest personalities in Canada to star in its fourth season airing on Global TV in the winter 2016.”
Applicants must have Canadian citizenship and be 19 years or older by Feb. 1, 2016. People can either attend the casting call or submit online applications by Oct. 26 at bigbrothercanada.ca.

The dancers express the darkness and beauty of humanity, both of men and women through varying movement vocabularies.
