Musical architect Aaron Bruno and AWOLNATION are playing at Edmonton’s Union Hall on July 7 as part of their 2015 Run Tour.

The band just released its official music video for the single I Am and it is viewable on YouTube. Featured in the World of Red Bull campaign, it has spiked to unprecedented levels with seven million hits.

Coming off a solid string of sold out shows along the East Coast, the band will continue their summer tour through to September in support of their latest album Run, released on March 17.

Doors open at Union Hall at 8 p.m. This is an 18 plus show. Tickets are $33.50 to $115. Visit unionhall.ca.

Folklore is full of tales of the supernatural, something that is thought provoking and downright chilling at times.

If you want to enjoy some super-spooky ghosty-type stories that will keep you awake at night, sign up for a storytelling evening of Spine-Tingling Tales: The 5th Incarnation coming July 10 and 11 from 8:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

And to create the right hair-raising atmosphere, the storytelling takes place at Edmonton Cemetery’s Mausoleum, 11820 – 107 Ave.

Sponsored by T.A.L.E.S. (The Alberta League Encouraging Storytelling), the night of eerie stories is co-produced by St. Albert’s Kerry McPhail.

Guests are asked to arrive 20 minutes early. Bring a lawn-chair, waterproof clothing and a flashlight. Admission is $20 cash at the gate.

Treehouse TV’s Splash ’n’ Boots returns to the Arden Theatre to perform two shows on Oct. 4.

The popular dynamic Canadian duo consists of Nick Adams and Taes Leavitt. The pair has a knack for reaching young children with their infectious melodies and fresh approach to entertainment.

With a genuine passion and talent for their craft, they are swiftly becoming the Fred Penners of this generation. They have travelled across the continents from Dubai to Italy, Bermuda to Australia and across North America.
