Cook plans to celebrate the 12-track with a 33-stop North American tour that lands at the Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium on Monday, Oct. 30.

Dallas Smith preps for Side Effects Tour
Not far behind Cook, country star Dallas Smith is gearing up for the 2017 Side Effects Tour coming on the heels of his third consecutive No. 1 single Sky Stays Blue.
Starting in Halifax, the tour picks up steam moving westward and reaches the Edmonton Expo Centre on Friday, Nov. 10.
Poised on the edge of superstardom, Smith is one of the most watched country artists in Canada.
He is currently nominated for four Canadian Country Music Association Awards: Male Artist of the Year, Single of the Year, Album of the Year and the Apple Music Fan’s Choice Award.

Tim Isberg back in St. Albert
Sherwood Park based singer-songwriter Tim Isberg has developed a loyal following in the region. This afternoon he comes back to St. Albert as a special guest at Mark Ammar’s Saturday Sessions.
A retired soldier, Isberg has developed a folk-roots style that is genuinely sincere and very much connected to his listeners. He will perform an eclectic mix of original material.
The Saturday jam starts this afternoon at 4 p.m. at LB’s Pub. No charge.
Back Porch Swing at LB’s Pub
After enjoying a relaxing summer tour across the British Columbia festival circuit, Back Porch Swing winds it up with a gig at LB’s Pub on Friday, Sept. 8.
Headed by St. Albert husband and wife team Jim and Penny Malmberg, the band also includes Cam Neufeld on fiddle and Kevin Jacobsen on bass.
Known for their old-time swing, folk, bluegrass and jazz, the foursome has developed a reputation for hot licks, tight harmonies and fun-lovin’ lyrics.
