Canada's longest-running Japanese anime festival takes place from Aug. 11 to 13 at MacEwan University.
This year organizers have expanded their focus to include anime screening, video games and celebrity guests from Japan.
Some of the more established and much anticipated activities such as gaming, costume contests and traditional ceremonies also return.
This year's special celebrity guests are The Sixth Lie, Mika Kobayashi, Baozi & Hana as well as DJ Teddyloid.
