One of Britain’s favourite pop superstars, Ed Sheeran, is coming back to Edmonton on July 25 with a performance at Rogers Place.

Now enjoying a sold-out tour across Europe, Sheeran is also mounting a massive 48-date summer tour of North America.

The down-to-earth celebrity endeared himself to fans last year when he spontaneously joined St. Albert singer Sydney Bourbeau while she was singing at West Edmonton Mall to raise funds for the Edmonton Humane Society.

Bourbeau, a huge fan of Sheeran, had selected his hit Thinking Out Loud, and together they sang a duet to cheering crowds.

Tickets go on sale March 17 at Ticketmaster.
