Other locally connected nominees are St. Albert resident Dan Davidson as well as former St. Albert residents Aaron Goodvin and Brett Kissel in contention for Male Artist of the Year. Goovdin's song You Ain't is also nominated for Single of Year. Lastly, true-grit country band, The Dungarees, is tapped for Horizon Group of the Year as well as Horizon Single of the Year for Rain
