Raven’s Tales is artist Rick Wolcott's take on four tales featuring the ever-charismatic trickster and teacher Raven for the new exhibit in the Feature Staircase Gallery. Each carving shares a different aspect of Raven and his influence on the world. Until May 7.
Keep Them Safe by Edmonton’s Jenny Keith is the new exhibit in the Feature Vault Gallery. Three large-scale and highly-detailed paintings showcase three endangered Alberta animals: a woodland caribou, a grizzly bear, and a whooping crane. The works highlight the complex and intertwined relationships that animals, plants, and insects share within their ecosystems. Keith meticulously and exhaustively researched every facet of her subjects, including their habitats, ranges, and diets, as well as the other creatures and plants of those habitats. Stanley Milner Library
Isolation is a new exhibit of works created by artists during, and in response to, the COVID-19 pandemic. VASA artist Suzan Berwald has three works from her Nesting series in the exhibition. The artworks can be viewed in the Reading Room on the second floor of the library. Until Saturday, March 26.

Colour Scheme is a rotating monthly online art gallery featuring selected works by students of Bellerose, Paul Kane, and St. Albert Catholic high schools. Each month of the school year, several pieces from each school will be highlighted on The Gazette’s website at www.stalberttoday.ca on the last Saturday of the month. The most recent exhibit focusing on the colour magenta was posted on Saturday, Feb. 26.
Painters Unleashed is the spring show and sale of the St. Albert Painters Guild to be held in the rotunda of St. Albert Place. It will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, April 22; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 23; and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, April 24. Attendance will be free. paintersguild.ca
