Art Gallery of St. Albert

Atlantic Rim: Ecologies features works by John Maywood. Opening reception from 6 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, July 4, in conjunction with ArtWalk. Artist will be in attendance. Maywood will present an artist’s talk about the work on Saturday, July 6 at 3 p.m. Attendance is free. Until Saturday, July 27.

Florence Debeugny presents loco/Belcarra Cottages/Port Moody. Opening reception from 6 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, July 4, in conjunction with ArtWalk. Artist will be in attendance. Debeugny will give an artist’s talk about the work on Saturday, July 6 between two timed screenings of her 21-minute video and sound installation. The first screening is at 1 p.m. followed by the first talk at 1:30 p.m., with the second screening at 2:20 p.m. Attendance is free.

Visual Arts Studio Association

In My Fatherland features works by Dunni George. Opening reception from 6 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, July 4 in conjunction with ArtWalk. Artist will be in attendance. Until Saturday, July 27.

Bookstore on Perron

St. Albert Painters Guild members Melanie Hsiao, Pam Wolfe, Sandy Mitchell, and Bill Carstairs will have works on display in Gallery 7 in the back of the bookstore in conjunction with the July ArtWalk. ArtWalk returns to the Perron District from 6 to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 4. Art exhibits, activities and live demonstrations and other happenings in venues including WARES, St. Albert Public Library, Musée Héritage Museum, Art Gallery of St. Albert (and its Rental and Sales Gallery), the Bookstore On Perron, VASA Gallery, Confections Cake Co., The Collective, and La Crema Caffé.
