Art Gallery of St. Albert

Abandon features works by Pierre Bataillard and Ruth-Anne French. Opening reception from 6 to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 6, in conjunction with the June ArtWalk. Artists will be in attendance. An exhibition tour will take place starting at 12:05 p.m. on Thursday, June 20. The show runs until Saturday, June 29.

Visual Arts Studio Association

ATB Branch for Arts and Culture

Light Plucked from the Universe is a photo exhibition featuring several Alberta poets and their work through an intersection of portraits, text, and landscapes. Artists include St. Albert’s Poet Laureate Zach Polis, St. Albert's Youth Artist Award recipient Julia Sorensen, Edmonton Public Library Writer in Residence Matthew Stepanic, and Edmonton Poetry Festival's executive director Nisha Patel, as well as Derek Beaulieu, Marina Reid Hale, Sophie Kim, and Anna Marie Sewell. Upcoming events and news

ArtWalk returns from 6 to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 6. Amid all of the exhibits and lively art events, you can yarn bomb sculptures around the Perron District. Look for The Sunday Edition hosted by Amplify at The Collective. The Shop W.A.R.E.S. store in St. Albert Place will also have its grand reopening. Look for St. Albert Painters Guild members Andrew Raczynski, Dolly Bolen, Pat Trudeau, Diane Stone, Frances Pelletier, Luise Mendler-Johnson, Linda Corbett, Kateryna Young, and Deb Blair painting live in the foyer of St. Albert Place. There will be two ArtWalking Tours starting at 6 and 7:30 p.m. from the Musée Héritage Museum. Cost is $5 per person. Outdoor artists featured during the June ArtWalk include Tulip + Oink, Suzanne Foss, Palma Szabo, Sarah Hudson of Owl Adventures, Sarah Wourms, Bethany Turner, Terry Berg, Rhonda Drebit of Red Eagle Creations, Cassandra Ratcliffe, Jennifer Garman, Laura Edwards, Tessa Stanley, Tunde Vari, Ryan Mckiel, ​Dwayne Huzar, Esmahan Abdallah, Judy Schafers, Cam Wilson, Denise Van Domselaar, Naji Matta, Oksana Izio, and Autism Artistry.
