Art Gallery of St. Albert

High Energy 24 features works by students from Bellerose Composite High School, École Secondaire Saint Marguerite d’Youville, École Secondaire Paul Kane High School, St. Albert Catholic High School, Outreach High School and École Alexandre-Tache School. Visual Arts Studio Association

Symphony of Origin features works by Casandra Plester. Until Saturday, June 1.

Luise Mendler-Johnson has an exhibit of small still life paintings called Flowers & Fruit in the Corridor Gallery.

Musée Héritage Museum

The museum hosts an exhibit of art from a different artist every month in conjunction with the summer ArtWalk season. This month's feature artist is George Tosczak. Until Friday, May 31.

Bookstore on Perron

St. Albert Painters Guild members Wayne Gorman, Frances Pelletier, Diane Stone, and Dolly Bolen will have works on display in Gallery 7 in the back of the bookstore in conjunction with the May ArtWalk. Until Friday, May 31.

YEG Canvas

The new rotation of artworks is now on display for the Edmonton Arts Council’s third annual public art project. Look for new works on various billboard and LRT poster locations throughout the capital city.

Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital

Suzan Berwald has an exhibit of her acrylic “quilt” paintings in the Art on the Inside Gallery until June 27.

Upcoming events and news

Edmonton Timeraiser is a great way to purchase new art from local artists by bartering your volunteer time with charities and community organizations. Bidding starts at 20 hours and caps at 100. The next Timeraiser takes place on Saturday, June 1 from 6:30 to 10 p.m. at the Old Strathcona Performing Arts Centre, 8426 Gateway Blvd. in Edmonton.
