Reconciling Edmonton is an art exhibit produced by RISE – Reconciliation in Solidarity Edmonton. It is a collaboration between Métis poet Anna Marie Sewell, historian and writer Danielle Metcalfe-Chenail, visual artist Jennie Vegt and cultural connector Miranda Jimmy. Free exhibition tour will take place starting at 12:05 p.m. on Thursday, March 21. Until Saturday, March 30. A supplemental event called Understanding the TRC: Reports and Impact Commission will also take place from 2 to 3 p.m. on March 16. Preregistration is required.

The Indigenous Artist Market Collective offers authentic, locally handcrafted works by three or four Indigenous artists at its booth every Saturday at the Edmonton Downtown Farmers Market, which has moved from its summer outdoor setting to inside Edmonton City Hall (on the north side of Churchill Square) every Saturday until May 11. Recent feature artists included Jeannette Sommers, Krista Leddy and Darlene Logan. The market runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. every Saturday. www.city-market.ca
