The pandemic is everywhere, but one Morinville resident has 100,000 reasons to celebrate. Jessie Levall won the $100,000 WESTERN MAX with the EXTRA draw on Dec. 8, 2020.
Levall was at a store with his son when he decided to check the numbers of his lottery tickets.
“When I saw the zeroes on the screen I froze,” Levall said in a press release. “My son looked at me and asked, “How many zeroes?”
“I said, ‘There are five zeroes on the screen. He ran outside to get my wife. We were all blown away.”
Levall said he has a few ideas for his winnings including bill payments and saving for future needs.
He purchased the winning ticket at Gregg Avenue Shell at 325 Gregg Avenue in Hinton. Levall won by matching the last six digits of the winning EXTRA number – 6615625.
