TORONTO — Two members of Nickelback will bring their rocking sensibility to the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame gala.

Chad Kroeger and Ryan Peake are set to participate in a tribute performance to inductees Bryan Adams and Jim Vallance at the ceremony.

They'll be joined by Corey Hart, the musical mind behind "Sunglasses at Night," at the event taking place at Toronto's Massey Hall on Sept. 24.

It's the first in-person gala ceremony since 2017, and Serena Ryder, Charlotte Cardin and Jessie Reyez were previously announced as performers.

In addition to Adams and Vallance, Alanis Morissette is set to be inducted into the Hall of Fame at the ceremony.

Organizers say more inductees and performers will be announced in the coming weeks.
