The Group Health Centre Trust Fund is seeking enthusiastic volunteers to assist with selling tickets for the Bunkie Lottery – a community fundraiser supporting the purchase of vital diagnostic imaging equipment for Group Health Centre, including an upgraded mammography unit.
WHEN: June 28 & 29, August 8 & 9
WHERE: Canadian Tire
WHO: High school students, retirees, and anyone looking for a way to assist local healthcare
HOW: Transactions are done electronically, using smartphone technology (no cash accepted, no cash handling required)
Alcohol & Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) has confirmed that high-school students are allowed to sell tickets. Shifts can be scheduled with friends.
