Purpose and Summary:
Under the direction of the Program Manager, the Early Childhood Educator (ECE) provides a family-centered approach to early development services for children 0 to 6 years of age and their families who access the EarlyON Child and Family Centre. The ECE will be responsible for programming, support, referral and educational resources to the parents or primary caregiver of the infant/child in accordance with the program guidelines. The Early Childhood Educator will assist in the implementation of integrated service delivery from the point of intake to discharge for all assigned infants/children and families receiving services.
