Police look to public for information after early morning shooting in Northern Alberta

ST. PAUL, Alta. - Police are looking to the public for information after responding to a 4 a.m. call on Oct. 16 where an adult victim of an alleged shooting was in need of assistance.

Police responded on Sunday morning after a 911 call reported an adult victim was in need of help in the area of the provincial courthouse in St. Paul.

"St. Paul RCMP and Emergency Medical Services attended the location and the 35-year-old female victim was taken to hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries," according to police. RCMP continue to investigate the incident.

"No further details of this investigation can be shared at this time."

Police are asking anyone with information or video footage in the area taken between 2 a.m. and 4 a.m. to contact police if they have not already done so.
