Police say two people who died in Abbotsford, B.C., murder-suicide were 80 years old

ABBOTSFORD — A man and woman, both 80 years old, are dead in what police say was a murder-suicide in Abbotsford, B.C. Police say the bodies were found Monday night when officers responded to a report of a dispute in a home in the city.

ABBOTSFORD — A man and woman, both 80 years old, are dead in what police say was a murder-suicide in Abbotsford, B.C.

Police say the bodies were found Monday night when officers responded to a report of a dispute in a home in the city.

A statement from the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team says the man and woman lived together in that home.

They say they believe the deaths involved intimate-partner violence.

The team says there are no outstanding suspects and no ongoing risk to the public.

Sgt. Freda Fong of the homicide team says this is a tragic case that has shocked the community.
