Board members lead an organization towards a sustainable future through legal governance, financial management, and ensuring the nonprofit has adequate resources to advance its mission. They also work together to promote the organization, fundraise, and celebrate their efforts and successes. Neighbourhood Watch is a program aimed at reducing and preventing crime in our community. It is good neighbours working together, alert to the potential of crime and willing to look out for each other’s interests. The vision of the Board of Directors of the Neighbourhood Watch Association of St. Albert is to create a clear and encouraging environment and to provide the necessary leadership, education and material to carry out the responsibilities of the association.

St. Albert Family Resource Centre is a thriving and vital non-profit family resource centre serving families in St. Albert and the surrounding communities since 1982. They provide a variety of educational courses and workshops, as well as one-on-one support services, for families with growing children.

St. Albert & District Further Education Association and its network of members offer and promote diverse and ongoing learning opportunities to our citizens to enhance their personal growth, development and well being.

The St. Albert Nordic Ski Club is a family oriented Nordic ski club that offers a variety of children’s programs, adult lessons, ski touring adventures, and fun social activities. Many dedicated club volunteers also maintain St. Albert’s best Nordic ski trails at Kingswood Park and Riverlot 56.

This organization supports three valuable programs in our community. The Volunteer Centre believes volunteerism is vital to a healthy community and works to promote it. The Community Information Centre meets human service needs by referring to over 400 programs and services offered by St. Albert organizations. Sidekicks Mentorship program empowers and fosters confidence and self-esteem in youth and their families by engaging them in positive mentoring relationships with adults. CIVC believes in community and are happy you are a part of it!

Transitions believes in the value of the diversity of our community and that every member has gifts to share that enrich us. They are committed to assisting people with disabilities or developmental delays to have a quality of life equal to other citizens. They provide support services to individuals with developmental delays and disabilities and their families in St. Albert, Sturgeon County, Edmonton and surrounding area. Established in 1978 by parents and community activists, Transitions is part of a nation-wide community living movement.
